I bought the ASUS ROG Flow Z13-KJP. Pretty cool machine which I like very much, and I really haven't done much that really pushes it that hard. Mostly photo work, which it handles well as it has 128 GB of RAM..... yeah.... crazy stuff. But while that's really cool and useful and all, it does come with issues. Mostly in relation to when you're not using it. Sleep and hibernation.... yeah. Keeping alive that much memory uses a lot of battery life and I haven't got around to testing how long it will last but I suspect less than 5 days. As for hibernation.... this machine has 1 TB of storage, which if you enable hibernation you'll lose over 10% to make that work. Which is a nope.
So as a result I always shut it down. Which is a change of pace for me, and will encourage me to write some instant-resume tools but it's certainly a downside...
