One Year Later
So I've been at this zen Slog thing for over a year now... and not really achieving the primary goal sad to say. Or even the secondary goal. But keeping it active was a goal so that's all good. I really do need to get back to the whole software aspect though, which should be easier now I've mostly caught up on my photo sorting backlog. Hurrah!
Sunk Time Truthality
Sometimes I spend so much time researching a product I end up buying something just to make the time spent researching not a waste of time. 'cos otherwise I'm likely to just go and do the research again and then end up with the same dilemma. That's the problem of today; it's hard to believe anything in product specs or reviews. Wind up Wind down
Back on language? Yeah. But this one really did get me thinking. I was asked if I was going to sleep soon and I said something like "Yeah, I'm just winding up a few things." To my surprise I got the reply "Don't you mean 'wind down'".... and I'm not really sure what I said back as it's kinda interesting.
To me "wind up" is what I meant. To me it means finishing up, with the comparison being that you wind up clocks before (...)
