Bitlocker has been around for almost 20 years. I've never chose to use it, but it's been on by default and my policy is generally to give something a go and not rock the boat unless it's seems to be required. It's never given me any issues; I've tended to print out recovery keys if they are thrust in my face but it's never given me a reason to look into it more or remove it.

I'm pretty into "block" sets. Like LEGO. Used to just be LEGO, but over time I went from "It's LEGO or nothing" to "I wish TLG (The LEGO Group) did that" to "oh, that one looks OK, I'll buy it". To expand, it was mostly over lines like Halo Mega Bloks, and once the rule had been broken I just kept buying. Often there was a vague excuse; the theme, the price, but the end result was the same.
