Recycled PS5 is alive
...so the BC-250 worked out fine. Funny stuff really. I bought it as I wanted a PS5 chip for geek value, but since I was overseas at the time I didn't do anything with it, came back and loads of smart people did all the hard work for me. It's now pretty much a case of "install Bazzite and use Steam"... all you need to work out youself is how you're going to power and cool it. Which is where I'm at. If you can find one cheap and have spare power supplies and or a case I suggest getting one (...)
The science of shopping research
Was doing some shopping research… it is that time of year afterall… and I was looking into a subject I know little about. E-ink writing tablets. Pass the parts
So how's New Nas November going? Well it's December now, but yeah, it all went well. Still ongoing kinda though, so the final assessment of the Jonsbo N5 will have to wait a bit. Why is this? Well this whole server plan got complicated fast. As I said earlier, the new server become a priority as the server got old and died, forcing me to replace it with an even older machine. This created problem A; I didn't really want to go for a traditional NAS server (...)
